🎥How to use the SHALL caulking gun

TIP: Getting Started & Troubleshooting Caulk Feeding

Initial Operation:

  • Start by setting the speed dial to "1" → Pull the trigger slowly to test the caulk flow amount.

If Caulk Won’t Feed at Low Speed:

  • Adjust the speed dial to a higher setting (this may happen depending on the caulk type/condition).

Troubleshooting No Caulk Feeding:

Check these issues:

  1. Nozzle tip isn’t cut enough (trim to ≥4mm)
  2. Caulk is solid/clogged in the nozzle
  3. Cartridge/package is damaged
  4. Caulk is stiff → Warm it until soft

Only compatible with 10oz/300ml cartridges. Sausage packs are not permitted.

🎥How to Install and Disassemble the Barrel

⚠️CAUTION: Secure the holder to the holder joint firmly. Otherwise the holder may come off during operation and may cause an injury.

TIP:To install the holder, turn it clockwise firmly until you hear a click. To remove the holder, follow the installation procedure in reverse.

🎥Starting and Turning Off the Machine
TIP:Plunger rod at bottom position → Machine shuts off automatically.

 🎥Why Burst the Tube?

CAUTION: Preventing Tube Blockages (to Avoid Bursting)

  1. Clear blockages promptly: If the tube/nozzle is clogged, unclog the tube or nozzle immediately—blockages can build up pressure and cause the tube to burst.
  2. Start at speed setting 1: Begin operation with the speed dial set to "1"; adjust the speed only after caulk starts flowing smoothly.
  3. Avoid using old caulk: Do not use caulk that has been stored for too long, as it may solidify and clog the tube.
  4. Minimize air exposure: After opening the caulk, use it promptly—prolonged contact with air can cause the caulk to harden and block the tube.

TIP: Handling Overload on Your SHALL Caulking Gun

When the tool is under heavy load:
  • You may see changes in adhesive dispensing (e.g., no adhesive flow, sudden reduced flow).
  • The tool’s sound will turn noticeably muffled/dull (different from normal operation).

If overload worsens, the tool will shut off automatically.

    What to do:

    1. Release the trigger first.
    2. Identify & fix the cause (check these: clogged caulk, high-speed setting, or nozzle tip cut too small—trim nozzle to ≥4mm).
    3. Restart once the issue is resolved.
🎥Practice adjusting the glue output speed
Tip: Pause early near the end—otherwise, more waste and poor appearance will result.

Caulking Gun Usage Reminder
Mastering the skills of using a caulking gun takes a little practice—and that’s completely normal! Everyone starts from being unfamiliar to becoming proficient, so don’t worry if it doesn’t go perfectly at first.
For your first use, we strongly recommend practicing on waste cardboard or unused corners first. This helps you get familiar with the caulk flow and speed adjustment without affecting your workpieces.
